CONCEPT
The Holis concept is of balance, interconnectedness, and interdependence. Two parts meet and exchange a fraction of themselves, supporting the other in the transaction. Much like the yin yang, one can’t exist without the other.
COLOR
The Airwave colorway describes the alternately calm and stormy relationship between air and water. Within each space, the other takes up residence. In clouds, droplets that become rain and provide healing humidity; in water, bubbles that provide life in the form of oxygen.
CONSTRUCTION
The Holis Corduroy Trousers are wide leg pants constructed from different variations of designer deadstock wide-wale cotton corduroy. They feature a relaxed crotch, circular knee patches & back pockets lined with cotton, and a zipper fly finished with a unique button (may vary from photos). Crucial seams are reinforced for durability & longevity.
Made to order just for you. Choose your size in Women’s range, customize the Rise (High or Mid) to your preference, and select the Inseam to request your desired length.
Fit Notes: Ordering High Rise results in pants where the waistband measurement matches the waist measurement. Ordering Mid Rise results in pants that sit a bit lower, and the waistband measures 2” - 3” bigger than the waist. Note that the crotch on these pants is dropped slightly for a relaxed/baggy look, and therefore you may prefer to request your Inseam slightly shorter than what it would be on a more fitted pair of pants. CREATION, CONTENT, AND CARE
Handmade in Los Angeles. 100% Cotton. Dry cleaning recommended. Alternatively: machine wash cold, hang or lay flat to dry, and use a soft brush in a downward motion to reset the corduroy pile.
